A: We have the proper experience, skill, equipment, and education to safely clean silk and all fiber types associated with area rugs. However, many fabrics will not be safe for an in-home surface clean and must be cleaned at our facility. At our rug cleaning facility, we are able to clean the following fabric types:

A: Peace Frog has a Pet Urine Decontamination protocol that would help here. The process targets and flushes away urine salts and neutralizes odor-causing bacteria with cleaning products formulated to be safe on wool fibers and the dyes found in Oriental rugs.

If evidence of pet urine building up over any length of time is visible, we may alert you to permanent dye damage or dry rot after pre-inspection.

A: We accept all major credit/debit cards (for an additional 2.9% processing fee), checks, and cash. Once your pre-inspection and quote have been approved by you, we can begin working on your rugs.

We require half of the grand total as a deposit at pick-up/drop-off. The other half will not be due until the rug is complete/returned.

A: Peace Frog Rug Cleaning is available for pick-up and delivery in Cedar Park, Leander, Liberty Hill, Lago Vista, Lakeway, Georgetown, Round Rock, Manor, Hutto, and all of Austin. We typically schedule rug pick-up/drop-offs on Fridays, but we may be able to make special arrangements if needed. Give us a call today to arrange an appointment!

A: Our technicians can help with moving furniture such as chairs, sofas, side tables, and even sectionals. However, we are not able to move larger/more breakable items such as beds, entertainments centers, or bookshelves. If you are needing help if moving larger furniture, me way be able to accommodate for an excessive furniture fee.

A: Most carpet manufacturers recommend professional cleaning every 12–18 months. Homes with pets, children, or high traffic areas may benefit from cleaning every 6–12 months to maintain appearance and indoor air quality.

A: We use professional hot water extraction (steam cleaning) to remove deep-down dirt, allergens, and residues from carpet fibers. This method is widely recommended by major carpet manufacturers.

A: Dry times typically range from 8–12 hours (it can be up to 24 hours), depending on airflow, humidity, and carpet thickness. We use professional equipment designed to maximize cleaning power while minimizing drying time.

A: Yes! We provide targeted pet treatments that help neutralize odors and break down stains caused by pets. However, it is important to note that we are unable to guarantee stain/odor removal. Some stains/odor may be permanent, even after a professional cleaning.

A: Yes. We offer carpet stretching and minor carpet repairs to remove wrinkles, fix loose areas, and extend the life of your carpet.

A: Yes. We assess the fabric type and manufacturer cleaning code before treatment to ensure safe and effective cleaning. It is important to note that we are often unable to clean true velvet and suede. However, you can always send our office team a photo of the upholstery for review and consideration!

A: Yes. Professional upholstery cleaning can remove many odors caused by pets, spills, and everyday use. However, it is important to note that we are unable to guarantee stain/odor removal. Some odors may be trapped deep within the padding of the furniture and not just on the surface-layer of the fabric.

A: Yes. We offer specialized hardwood floor cleaning designed to remove built-up dirt without damaging the wood surface. Hardwood floors do have some nuances to them, so we do require a free in-person estimate/inspection before scheduling the cleaning.

A: Absolutely. Our cleaning process safely restores the appearance of vinyl, LVP, and other hard surface flooring.

A: No. Our process is designed to remove dirt and residues, leaving floors clean without sticky buildup.

We are unable to pressure wash some painted surfaces. With some of the nuances of pressure washing, we would like to schedule a free in-person estimate/inspection prior to scheduling the work.

A: Yes. We use the appropriate pressure and cleaning solutions for each surface to avoid damage while effectively removing dirt, algae, and grime.

A: Lint buildup in dryer vents can reduce efficiency and increase fire risk. Professional cleaning helps keep your dryer running safely and efficiently. It is important to note that we are only able to clean the dryer vent from both ends if the dryer vent exits on an exterior wall of the home (Peace Frog is not permitted to get on top of roofs).

A: Most homes benefit from dryer vent cleaning every 1–2 years, depending on usage.

A: Service times vary depending on the size of the job, but most residential appointments range from 1–3 hours.

A: We recommend removing small items and breakables before our arrival. Our technicians can often help move light furniture when necessary. We are unable to move larger/breakable items such as beds, entertainment centers, or bookshelves.
